Privacy Policy

How we collect and use personal information through this website.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

AinTools.ai is a trading name of OPTI5 AI - FZCO, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates ("AinTools," "we," "us"). This policy explains how we collect and use personal information through aintools.ai, and when you email us or buy from us through the website.

We follow UAE data protection law. Where we offer services to people in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also follow the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This policy covers our website only. Data we process for clients on the AinTools platform is covered by our agreements with those clients, where we act on the client's instructions.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Demo requests and inquiries: your first and last name, work email, and anything you write in the form or in an email to us.
  • Readiness assessment: your answers to the assessment questions. If you ask for your results by email, we also collect your name and email address so we can send them to you.
  • Payments through our checkout page: your name, billing details and what you bought. Card details are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We don't store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages you visit, and the site that referred you.
  • Monitoring: we use our own monitoring tools (Grafana and Prometheus), running on our own servers, to keep the website working and secure. This data stays with us and isn't shared with any other company.
  • Cookies: see section 9.

4. Use of AI tools

We use Claude, an AI tool made by Anthropic, on a business (Team) plan to help us sort inquiries and draft replies. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, information we put into Claude isn't used to train Anthropic's AI models. We only use AI tools under business terms like these.

A member of our team reviews every reply before it's sent. Our readiness assessment works out your results using fixed scoring rules and doesn't use AI models. We don't make decisions about you based only on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. Who we share your information with

We share your information only with:

  • Service providers who run parts of our business for us, under contracts that limit how they use it:
    • Amazon Web Services (website hosting)
    • Microsoft (email, through Microsoft 365)
    • Resend (sending emails from our website, such as readiness assessment results and form confirmations)
    • Anthropic (Claude, the AI tool described in section 4)
    • Stripe (payments)
    • Google (Google Analytics, website analytics)
    • LinkedIn (the LinkedIn Insight Tag, ad measurement and audiences)
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
  • Authorities, when the law requires us to.
  • A buyer or successor, if AinTools is ever sold or merged. Your information would stay protected under this policy.

6. Where your information is processed

We're based in the UAE. Our website is hosted by Amazon Web Services in the European Union and the UAE, our email runs on Microsoft 365, and we use Claude, provided by Anthropic. Emails sent from our website, such as readiness assessment results and form confirmations, go through Resend, which stores data in the United States. Our providers may process information in other countries, including the United States.

When we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the UK, we use a recognized safeguard. This is usually the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (with the UK addendum), or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it.

Some of our providers are US companies. US law, including the CLOUD Act, can let US authorities require these companies to hand over data they control, even when it's stored outside the US.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it.

After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • correct information that's wrong or incomplete
  • delete your information
  • limit how we use it, or object to us using it
  • send your information to you or another company in a common format
  • stop using it where we rely on your consent (this doesn't affect what we did before you withdrew it)

To do any of these, email hello@aintools.ai. We'll reply within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the EU, that's the authority in your country. In the UK, it's the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website.

  • Essential cookies keep the website working and secure. They don't need your consent.
  • Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics, help us see how people use the site. We only set them if you agree, and you can change your choice at any time.
  • Advertising cookies, set by the LinkedIn Insight Tag, tell us when someone who saw our LinkedIn ads visits the site or completes an action on it, and let us show our ads to people who have visited. We only set them if you agree.

If you don't agree, Google Analytics still receives a basic count of the visit with no cookies and nothing that identifies you or your device.

You can change your choice in Cookie settings, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

10. Security, children and changes

Security. We protect your information with technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections to our website and limits on who can access your information. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children. Our website isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
